    I met my child-hood hero Frank Frazetta in 1995 at his home in East Stroudsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was thrill of a lifetime! My main artistic influences are Michaelangelo, Baroque art, the Bauhaus movement, Rembrandt, Klimpt, Sargent, Norman Rockwell, Miyazaki, Fantasia, Rico Lebrun, Syd Mead, Ralph McQuarrie, John Berkey , H.R. Giger, Roger Dean, Jeff Jones,  and Lebbeus Woods.

    I've close to 30 years experience in the industry, and have wide breadth of styles and techniques to meet challenges from variety of assignments. Essentially, both technique and styles come and go but the important thing is to have a good grasp of the foundation which one can build on.

    How do you come up with the details for the armor on your characters and greebling?

      The armor I look at Medieval European stuff and detail I look at Celtic and Rococo designs. In Photoshop use overlay filter to paste Celtic/Rococo design over armor. With armor think of three materials : metal, leather, fabric. Mix according to function and cool factor, and have one dominant theme like dragon, lion, eagle, etc.
